A simple history-dependent remeshing technique to increase finite element model stability in elastic surface deformations

چکیده
In this paper we present and validate a simple adaptive surface remeshing technique to transfer history dependent variables from an old distorting mesh new during finite element simulations of elastic deformation. This allows us reduce the error arising excessive distortion whilst preserving information about initial configuration variables. The presented here constructs by considering incurred elements projecting backwards in time. Using configuration, stress strain over can be easily calculated. After presenting necessary steps reconstruct show that relatively adds stability reduces spatial across domain. novel is easy implement, released under open source licence, provides strategy add undergoing large deformations.
